Alfio Paolo GRAZIANI
Alfio Paolo Graziani (1900-1981) was an Italian painter born in Roncoferraro, Mantua. He studied at the renowned Brera Academy in Milan under the artists Cesare Tallone and Ambrogio Alciati. Graziani’s work covers a wide range of subjects, including landscapes, floral motifs, portraits, figure paintings and urban scenes. His work was shown in numerous regional and national exhibitions, including several times at the Venice Biennale before the Second World War. In 1939, he also took part in the first edition of the Quadriennale di Arte Nazionale in Rome and was involved in further editions until 1943. Graziani spent most of his life in Gavirate (Varese), where he died in 1981.
