Anna SATTLER-SEIGERSCHMIED

Anna Sattler-Seigerschmidt (b. 1873 in Vienna; d. 1962 in Vienna) was an Austrian painter and artist renowned for her exquisite still-life paintings. She trained at the Vienna Academy under Christian Griepenkerl, mastering a highly detailed and realistic style of painting.

Her works often feature lavish porcelain pieces from Meissen or the Royal Porcelain Manufactory (KPM) as focal points. These meticulously rendered still lifes, created primarily around 1915, reflect the influence of the old Dutch masters while integrating the ideals of modernity. Notably, she skillfully combined mythological themes into her compositions, giving them a timeless and evocative resonance.
