August von Rüdt

August von Rüdt (* 1900 in Munich; † 1966) was a German painter and graphic artist.

He is known for his work in the field of landscape painting and portraiture. After training as an artist in Munich, he developed his own characteristic style, which was characterized by his attention to detail and colour composition.

Von Rüdt took part in numerous exhibitions and received various awards for his work over the course of his career. His works can be found in public and private collections and bear witness to his contribution to German art of the 20th century.
