Bruno Flashar
Bruno Flashar (* June 5, 1887 in Munich; † March 5, 1961 there) was a German painter who spent his life and career in Munich.
Growing up as the son of a local painter, Flashar was immersed in a creative atmosphere from an early age. He began his formal artistic training on October 28, 1904, at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, where he studied under notable instructors such as Gabriel von Hackl, Carl von Marr, and Ludwig von Löfftz.
Following his education, he focused on painting landscapes, genre scenes, and still lifes in Munich. He was actively involved in several artists’ associations, including the Reich Association of Visual Artists of Germany, the Munich Artists’ Cooperative, and the Munich Artists’ Association. From 1938 to 1944, he regularly exhibited his works at the Great German Art Exhibitions.
