Carl Christian Bowedt

Carl Christian Bowedt (October 20, 1889 – 1972) was a Swedish-Danish artist.

He was the son of the butcher Nils Petter Nilsson and Fredrika Emilie Ottomina Bowedt. Bowedt studied art in Copenhagen, Berlin, and Lucerne, as well as during his travels to Italy and Spain. His artwork includes street scenes, harbor views from Copenhagen, and landscapes in oil or tempera, along with wall decorations. He was awarded a gold medal and a silver medal at exhibitions in America.
