Gustav Tauschinsky

Gustav Tauschinsky (1888–1978) was a German painter and graphic artist, born in Budigsdorf in the Hohenstadt district. He attended high school in Trübau and studied at the Vienna Academy. After his studies, he worked as a teacher at the German Gymnasium in Trieste. He was injured during World War I and subsequently worked as a freelance artist. Due to his displacement, he settled in Eglosheim near Ludwigsburg. In 1976, he was awarded the Schönhengster Cultural Prize.
