Hans Hemmeter

Hans Hemmeter (1879–1953) was a German artist and the brother of the sculptor Karl Hemmeter (1904–1986). He studied at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Stuttgart. Initially active as a sculptor and graphic artist, he focused exclusively on painting after 1920, creating primarily portraits and still lifes.
