Hermann Hörner
Hermann Hörner was a painter who studied at the Stuttgart Art Academy from 1920 to 1922 and then at the Berlin Art School from 1922 to 1926. He continued his education at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris (1926-1928). His first solo exhibition was in 1928 at the Galerie Neumann-Nierendorf in Berlin, and from 1929 he worked as a freelance artist in Berlin. Hörner participated in several notable exhibitions, including “Berliner Kunst” of the Verein Berliner Künstler in 1938 and another guest exhibition of the association in 1939. In 1959, he resumed working as a freelance artist in his hometown, Schwäbisch Gmünd.
