Josef MAYRHOFER
Josef Mayrhofer was born in 1902 in Kempten and was a German painter active in Stuttgart. He was a member of the Stuttgart Secession, a prominent artist group dedicated to modern art. Josef Mayrhofer passed away in Stuttgart in 1962. Throughout his career, he participated in various exhibitions, including a solo exhibition at the Galerie Schöninger in Stuttgart in 1952 and another at the Kunsthaus Schaller in Stuttgart in 1961. His works have also been referenced in literature, including Artprice, Vollmer’s dictionary, the 22nd issue of Weltkunst from 1952, and the 59th issue of Deutsche Kunst und das schöne Heim (1959/60).
