Jul Schönau
Jul Schönau (born 1933) is a German painter and graphic artist who has been working independently in Stuttgart since 1962. As a member of the Heilbronn Artists’ Association, she has played a key role in shaping the regional art scene. In 1964, Schönau attracted attention as the first female artist to hold an exhibition in a Heilbronn evening venue. This exhibition took place at the basement bar “Bei Rudi” on Allee 16, marking a significant moment for the public reception of art in Heilbronn.
