Karl Moser-Rossner
Karl Moser-Rossner was born on April 13, 1893, and passed away on May 2, 1985. He studied at the Munich Academy under renowned professors Feuerstein and Marr, living near Munich. The artist became known for his portraits, which did not depict types but focused on the individuality of the person. He had a particular affection for the inhabitants of the Bavarian Alps, whom he portrayed in their picturesque, colorful traditional costumes. Moser-Rossner participated in major exhibitions, including the Great German Art Exhibition at the Haus der Kunst in Munich in 1942 and 1943. He also took part in a successful group exhibition in Regensburg in 1946.
