Viatcheslav Romanov

Vyacheslav Romanov was born in 1952 in Saint Petersburg, Russia. He successfully completed his studies at the I.E. Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture in 1977. In 1980, he received a diploma from the Academy of Arts for the best painting of the year, highlighting his outstanding skills as an artist.

Since 1980, Romanov has participated in numerous international group exhibitions organized by the Soviet Ministry of Culture, showcasing his work in Stuttgart, Urbino, Lazio, Paris, Switzerland, West Germany, and Vietnam. From 1978 to 2017, he was also regularly represented in union-wide, republican, and city exhibitions across Russia, particularly in Moscow and Saint Petersburg. In 1988, he was invited to the international exhibition “Expo International” in New York, where he received significant acclaim.

His works have been auctioned worldwide, including in Paris (Hotel Drouot), Brussels, Antwerp, Ghent, and Munich between 1991 and 1993. Romanov’s artworks are part of numerous museum collections, including the Tambov Picture Gallery, the Seaside Picture Gallery in Vladivostok, the Balashikha Picture Gallery in the Moscow region, the Buryat Art Museum in Ulan-Ude, and several other museums in Russia and Vietnam.

Additionally, his works are held in significant private collections in Russia, the USA (New York, San Francisco), the UK (London), France (Paris), Italy (Corsica), Finland, Denmark, Belgium, and Germany.
