Marcus Ford

Marcus Ford, landscape painter born in 1915 and died in 1989. He was born in Forest Gate, London. He studied art privately and exhibited mainly in provincial galleries. He also had several solo exhibitions, including 3 at Frost and Reeds in London. He was president of the Upminster Art Society and belonged to the Wapping Group. He later moved to Aldebrough and painted in Suffolk and Norfolk.
