Max M. Licklederer

Max Michael Licklederer (1863 – 1948) was an Austrian painter. He was born in Pfaffenhofen am Inn and died in Rosenheim. He attended the School of Applied Arts in Munich from 1886 to 1889 and then studied at the Academy in Munich under Gabriel von Hackl and Otto Seitz from 1890 to 1892. From 1900 he lived in Rosenheim and became known above all as a painter of the Simssee region and as a portraitist of Rosenheim personalities.
