Paul-Marie Vuillard

Paul-Marie Vuillard (1948) is a contemporary French painter. He specialized in painting nudes in watercolour, always working with models. By playing with light and shadow, he enabled the viewer’s eyes to render the shapes of the bodies. He also developed a very colorful style of oil painting by applying the raw pigments directly to the canvas, achieving vibrant colors.
