Walter BIDDLECOMBE

Walter BIDDLECOMBE (1856-1938) was a painter of landscapes, flowers, figures and animals who originally came from Southampton but moved to Marseille in France in 1895, like many painters influenced by the strong sunlight he found there. He developed a unique and unmistakable style that was fully developed during his stay. Walter Biddlecombe painted several Provençal landscapes in the surroundings of Aix en Provence.
