She was initially taught by her father, Bencz\u00far Gyula. From 1907 to 1914, she studied at the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts, where her teachers included R\u00e9v\u00e9sz Imre, Bosznay Istv\u00e1n, Tardos Krenner Viktor, and R\u00e9ti Istv\u00e1n. She undertook study trips to Italy and Germany. Starting in 1914, she began to exhibit her works, focusing primarily on painting flower still lifes and interiors.\n\nShe was the daughter of the painter Bencz\u00far Gyula and Karolina Max and the sister of the applied artist Bencz\u00far Elza, the visual and applied artist Bencz\u00far Olga, as well as the doctor Bencz\u00far Gyula. Additionally, she was the niece of the architect Bencz\u00far B\u00e9la and the painter Gabriel von Max. She was also the sister-in-law of the sculptor ifj.
