Born Walfrid Joseph Louis Kuhn on December 10, 1873, in Paris, he studied under Fernand Cormon at the \u00c9cole des Beaux-Arts in Paris. From 1900 to 1938, he worked as an advertising designer and caricaturist for magazines such as La Vie Parisienne, Fantasio, Lectures pour tous, and Le Sourire. He created the cover for La Jeune Revue (June 1899), founded by Francis Laur.\n\nIn 1904, he exhibited a painting titled L'Indiff\u00e9rente at the Salon d'Automne and later became a member of the Salon des humoristes. Kuhn-R\u00e9gnier illustrated several bibliophile works and became, in the early 1920s, a specialist in the illustration of educational books, using a clear and precise line drawing style, particularly for Fernand Nathan.\n\nHis illustrated works include:\n\nJ.-H.
