In 1925, she created a portrait of Ludwig von K\u00f6hler, the rector of the University of T\u00fcbingen at that time, which was intended for the university's gallery of professors.\n\nIn 2012, an oil painting, believed to be by von Scholley, was acquired at auction by the painting and sculpture collection of the Fembohaus City Museum in Nuremberg. This previously unknown portrait, identified as that of Carl Johannes Fuchs, is unsigned; however, it features a barely legible inscription on the back in pencil that can be interpreted as \u201cv. Scholley.\u201d The shoulder-length portrait depicts Professor Fuchs in his official robe and is thought to have been cut from a larger original format.\n\nAdditionally, von Scholley created a still life measuring 51 \u00d7 61 cm, featuring an Asian vase and a wobbly pagoda, which bears an exhibition label from the W\u00fcrttemberg Art Association on its reverse side.","link":"https:\/\/collection.galerie-gerdes.com\/en\/c\/artist-en-2\/ruth-von-scholley-en\/","name":"Ruth VON SCHOLLEY","slug":"ruth-von-scholley-en","taxonomy":"product_cat","parent":1857,"meta":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/collection.galerie-gerdes.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/product_cat\/14630","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/collection.galerie-gerdes.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/product_cat"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/collection.galerie-gerdes.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/taxonomies\/product_cat"}],"up":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/collection.galerie-gerdes.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/product_cat\/1857"}],"wp:post_type":[{"href":"https:\/\/collection.galerie-gerdes.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/product?product_cat=14630"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
