Born in Nice, he spent his childhood in Nice and Nogent-sur-Marne. From 1937, he was supported by the painter Louis Biloule and studied at the \u00c9cole des Beaux-Arts in Paris from 1939 to 1948. Le Roux undertook study trips to Italy, Greece, Spain and the Netherlands.\n\nHis parents, who lived in Indochina for a time, awakened his enthusiasm for Asian culture, which, together with South American culture, had a strong influence on his artistic work. Le Roux worked in Chavannes-sur-Ressouze and exhibited his works together with renowned artists such as Picasso and Mir\u00f3.
