{"id":7931,"count":0,"description":"Max-Wolfgang Weber (1939) is a German painter and artist. He was born in Dresden in 1939. He began his artistic training in 1953 with private painting and drawing lessons from Prof. Gerhard David in Dresden. From 1956 to 1957, he studied at the Academy of Visual Arts in Leipzig under Prof. W. Mattheuer. He then continued his studies from 1957 to 1959 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich under Prof. Xaver Fuhr. To deepen his artistic knowledge and skills, he completed a further year of study at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna from 1962 to 1963 under the direction of Prof. Franz Elsner.\n\nMax-Wolfgang Weber has been working as a freelance artist in Munich since 1960. His work was honored in 1985 with the purchase of his main work \u201cStrandbild Narbonne\u201d by the Bavarian State Painting Collections. He is a member of the Berufsverband Bildender K\u00fcnstler (BBK) and the VG BILD-KUNST.\n\nWeber has participated in numerous exhibitions over the course of his career. For example, he exhibited at the Kunstforum der St\u00e4dtischen Galerie in Munich in 1977 and took part in the major art exhibition at the Haus der Kunst in Munich in 1979. He has also presented his works internationally, for example in 1980 at the Institut Francais de M\u00fcnchen and in 1990 at the Galerie Du Loup in Gensac\/Gironde, France.\n\nFurther important exhibitions by Max-Wolfgang Weber took place, for example, in 2000 at the Trafo in Munich, on the occasion of the event \u201c10 years united\u201d between Leipzig and Munich. In 2010, his works were on display at the City Planning Office of the City of Munich as part of the \u201cBruder Baum\u201d exhibition. In 2012, he presented his \u201cEnergy Landscapes\u201d at the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry in Martinsried.\n\nRecent exhibitions in 2019 include \u201cIm Fluss der Zeit\u201d at the Karl Valentin Birthplace in Munich, \u201cHerbstkl\u00e4nge\u201d at ZUK (Maierhof) Kloster Benediktbeuern and \u201cHerbstakkord\u201d at Schloss Blutenburg, Munich.
