Adam BRENNER

Adam Brenner was born in Vienna on December 21, 1800 and died in the same city on April 22, 1891. He was a respected Austrian painter and joined the Vienna Künstlerhaus in 1869. He received his training at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts under the guidance of L. Kupelwieser and G. F. Waldmüller. He initially specialized in painting historical scenes, later turning increasingly to portraits, still lifes and genre scenes.
