Formarea sa artistic\u0103 a avut loc \u00eentre 1897 \u0219i 1903 la Kunstgewerbeschule Karlsruhe \u0219i la Kunstakademie Karlsruhe, unde a \u00eenv\u0103\u021bat sub \u00eendrumarea lui Victor Weishaupt \u0219i Wilhelm Tr\u00fcbner.<\/p>\n
Din 1913 p\u00e2n\u0103 \u00een 1938, a lucrat ca profesor de desen \u0219i modelaj la \u0219coala de orfevr\u0103rie din Pforzheim. Cunoscut pentru pasiunea sa pentru modelarea cailor, a fost poreclit „Pferdles-Link”. <\/p>\n
